Termination rate is the number of downgrades as a percentage of the starting full member count for a given period of time.

You should typically measure your monthly termination rate, but when comparing between months with varying days, daily termination rate is a fairer comparison. 

Daily termination rate is the number of downgrades on a particular day as a percentage of the full member count for that day.
